Lagarda Pride

Yes, it’s an extensive process but that is what makes us worth it. One of the large problems faced with hiring a security company is the idea “that all companies are the same”. We do not just fill our positions with warm bodies. We fill them with individuals having warm minds.

We at Lagarda Security pride ourselves on self-Improvement. Officers are rewarded for their completion of every course. We offer many incentive programs not only to prepare our officers with the associated physical stress but the mental fatigue as well. Below we have highlighted a few of the courses we offer. These classes are not only available to our officers but, the client and general public as well.

Featured Classes

Sensitivity Training:

Training in a small interacting group that is designed to increase each individual’s awareness of his or her own feelings and the feelings of others and to enhance interpersonal relations through the exploration of the behavior, needs, and responses of the individuals making up the group.

Crisis Prevention Intervention Training:

As an educator, health care provider, or human service provider, you face challenging behavior and potentially dangerous situations every day. How you respond greatly determines the safety of everyone involved—and profoundly impacts your relationships with those in your care. Clear policies and effective, ongoing training go a long way in helping avoid violent incidents and escalating crises.

A crisis can be defined as a moment in time when an individual in your charge loses rational, and at times even physical, control over her own behavior. This can be very challenging and anxiety producing for those responsible for intervening. Due to the chaotic, unpredictable nature of a crisis, it is vital that staff stay calm and proceed with a plan. These crisis moments do not sprout into being without roots; there are almost always warning signs that let you know an individual’s behavior is escalating.
